Mike is currently the Head of Partnerships and Marketing at Stage Front, where he is responsible for strategic ticket partnerships with rights holders as well as growth initiatives with vendors and secondary marketplaces. This includes developing strategies that work cross-functionally along all of Stage Front's technology and product lines (Ticket Distribution, Pricing, Auto-Pricing, Data, Analytics). He is also currently responsible for a company-wide re-branding effort and marketing initiatives including the website, digital avenues, CRM implementation, social, PR and outreach efforts. Mike also oversaw the creation and launch of www.stagefronttickets.com including design, inventory management, process, and digital marketing efforts.
Prior to joining Stage Front, Mike held executive roles at ticket marketplaces SuiteHop and TicketCity where his overall responsibilities included business development and customer service, CRM and data strategic visions, vendor (ticketing) relationships, order processing, and global PR. Mike also worked diligently at culture and leadership developing multiple programs and ongoing policies designed for career and personal growth.
Mike got his start in the ticketing industry working for the Pittsburgh Penguins and was an early adopter of consumer data initiatives (he built a CRM out of TicketMaster Archtics Notes in 2005), and lead a complete rebuild of the premium seating department from scratch focusing on efficiency, administration and accounting procedures. Working with a team totaling 2 additional premium hires, they created sales and marketing processes allowing for the move of all suite and loge box customers into a new arena during championship seasons. A task typically handled by 10 - 15. In total $90 million in contracts were signed and a 95% renewal rate on club seats into the new building.
After his time at the Penguins, Mike was hired to oversee a complete restructuring of the premium seating department at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Mike cut expenses and ran a lean sales and service staff, took budget savings and drove marketing/CRM initiatives, developed pricing models that drove individual suite rentals, created revenue tracking across multiple business units, and implemented a modern re-brand. Each of his two seasons saw a 10% revenue increase with expenses decreasing (during down team performance years), and non-revenue shared income increased by over 100%.
